Peter Sain ley Berry graduated in Natural Sciences from Peterhouse, Cambridge in 1968. He spent 10 years as a civil servant in London and Cardiff before becoming a business consultant. He now runs a small business from his home in Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales, UK.

Peter has had a long interest in the alignments of ancient sites and in ancient systems of measurement. He researches in the Vale of Glamorgan – an area with an abundance of ancient sites and where mankind has lived since the very earliest times. His work illustrates the alignments of the 6,000 year old Tinkinswood Burial Cairn to the west of Cardiff and demonstrates that its builders must have had access to sophisticated surveying and mapping techniques as well as knowledge of the dimensions of the earth.
